A Pakistani national was reportedly arrested on Tuesday, October 12 in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area. As per the reports, arms and ammunition were also recovered from him.
He has been identified as Mohammad alias Ali from Pakistan’s Punjab province. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Pramod Singh Kushwaha reportedly said that the accused obtained Indian identity cards through forged documents.
The police reportedly said that he was living as an Indian National. An AK-47 and several other arms and ammunition were recovered from him. Mohammad Ashraf had been booked under various provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act and Explosives Act.
