A young woman tried to end her life as she jumped off Akshardham metro station in Delhi. Her video has gone viral on the internet. As per the reports, the woman allegedly tried to commit suicide. The incident happened on Thursday, April 14.
In the video, the CISF personnel can also be seen requesting the girl not to jump. They tried to persuade the woman. However, when persuasion did not work, the CISF personnel arranged a blanked and saved the life of the girl when she jumped off the metro station.
The reports also suggest that because of the severity of the fall, she sustained several injuries. But her life has been saved. She was then rushed to a nearby hospital.
It is to be noted that the edge of the building from where she jumped, was equivalent to three to four floors. She was wandering on the metro station platform for a long time. However, the CISF personnel tried to approach her. But before that, she climbed the wall and reached the edge of the metro station building.
