A gangster and two others were killed in a shootout inside the courtroom in Delhi on Thursday. The reports suggest that several people were injured.
Right inside the court complex of Rohini, north Delhi, gangster Jitender Gogi was killed by the rival gang. The media reports also suggest the security personnel killed two of the attackers.
Also, the attackers were dressed as lawyers when they entered the courtroom. Jitender Gogi is a gangster involved in various criminal cases and was jailed in Tihar. He was being produced to the court when his rivals from Tillu gang attacked him.
Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana reportedly said that two persons from the rival gang opened fire at Jitender inside the courtroom. The police retaliated and killed the assailants.
