Only a week is left for the Punjab Assembly elections, and all the senior political leaders of different parties are continuously visiting the state to appeal to the voters. Today, several leaders will address the people of Punjab, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi to visit Punjab

After the alleged security breach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Punjab for the first time. In the last week of campaigning, Narendra Modi will conduct three major rallies in Punjab. He will address a rally today in Jalandhar, then in Pathankot on February 16, and then in Abohar on 17.

PM Modi meets Beas Dera Chief

Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Beas and met the Dear Chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon.

He tweeted, “Earlier today, I had the honour of meeting Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon Ji of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas. The social service initiatives of the RSSB are commendable,”

Farmers ready to protest against PM Modi

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Jalandhar, farmers’ organizations are all set to protest. 23 farmers’ organizations are reportedly protesting against PM. Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan, General Secretary of Bhartiya Kisan Union Ugrahan, reportedly said that there will be protests on the way to the PM’s rally.
