Ahead of Assembly Polls in Punjab, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh inaugurated the office of his new political party Punjab Lok Congress in Chandigarh on Monday.
He took to Twitter and wrote, “Sought Waheguru Ji’s blessings before I proceed to inaugurate the “Punjab Lok Congress” office today.”
He inaugurated his new office in Sector-9 Chandigarh. On September 18, Captain Amarinder Singh quit the post of Chief Minister and then left the Congress Party.
He has cleared that he will share seats with the BJP in the upcoming Assembly Polls. Also, he is expected to meet BJP national president JP Nadda soon. Last week also, he met Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and said that the membership drive for his new party was going great.
