Ludhiana, October 18
The newly appointed Civil Surgeon of Ludhiana Dr. SP Singh on Monday showed green flags to auto-rickshaws that would be used to spread awareness about dengue to the city residents.
Civil Surgeon Dr. SP Singh informed that these auto-rickshaws would go to different areas of the city to make people aware of the dengue and tell them the methods to safeguard themselves.
It is to be noted that Ludhiana has been continuously witnessing a rise in the number of dengue cases. On Monday, as many as 16 new dengue patients were reported in Ludhiana.
Now, the total number of coronavirus cases have reached 439 in the district. Also, the suspected dengue cases have risen to 1,866.
