The security at the national capital borders has been increased ad the farmers’ protest against the three farm laws has completed one year. Since November 26, 2020, farmers from different parts of the country have been protesting against the farm laws at Delhi-Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently announced the repeal of the three farm laws that have been in controversy for over a year now. The cabinet had also given approval to repeal the laws.
As farmers’ protest completes one year, Samyukta Kisan Morcha took to Twitter and wrote, “One year of struggle, determination & fight PM Modi says- Farm laws to be repealed in nxt parliament session But what abt MSP?? Isn’t it our farmers’ right?”
According to the reports, a number of events have been planned by the farmer unions and thousands of farmers are expected to reach Delhi borders.
