The Central Board of School Education has waived exam fees and registration fees of the students who have lost their parents due to coronavirus. They have also asked the schools to send details of the students for verification.
The Board has reportedly said, “The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the country adversely. Keeping in view the impact of the pandemic, it has been decided that for the session 2021-22, neither the exam fees nor the registration fees will be charged by the Board from the students who lost both parents or surviving parent or legal guardian/adoptive parents because of the pandemic.”
The Board has asked for the list of candidates for classes 10 and 12 with late fees (till September 30) and without late fees (with late fees).
As per the reports, CBSE has also decided to conduct the board exams in two sets. Firstly, the exams will be held between November and December and then in March and April 2022.
