The Delhi police have started removing the barricades and the cemented blocks at the Gazipur and Tikri border after 11 months of continuous farmers’ agitation.
ANI reports that the process of opening one side of the road from Ghaziabad to New Delhi has been started on Friday, October 29. These barricades were placed on the borders of Delhi following the Republic Day violence witnessed in Red Fort and other parts of the national capital.
Special CP Law and Order Dependra Pathak reportedly informed that the Gazipur border will be open for commuters soon.
