Balwinder Singh Bains protested against the police
A huge ruckus was witnessed in the Court complex. Simarjit Singh Bains’ brother and sitting MLA from Ludhiana South, Balwinder Singh Bains even lied in front of the police jeep carrying Simarjit Singh Bains. Lok Insaf Party supporters also started sloganeering against the Punjab Police inside the Court Complex.
Balwinder Singh Bains said that Karwal’s supporters knew that Simarjit was planning to conduct a door-to-door campaign. Therefore, they tried to attack him. “Everything was pre-planned,” Balwinder Bains said.
The Ludhiana police arrested him from the District Court Complex. It is to be noted that Simarjit Singh Bains and Kamajit Singh Karwal are up against each other in the 2022 Assembly Polls. From the Atam Nagar constituency, Kamajit Singh Karwal is contesting elections against Simarjit Singh Bains.
