Ludhiana, January 26
Keeping in mind the covid situation in Ludhiana, the District Magistrate has announced new guidelines on Wednesday, January 26.
The new guidelines will remain in force till February 1.
Night curfew will continue in Ludhiana from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Only those fully vaccinated will be allowed at public places in Ludhiana. Other than that, the wearing of mask has been made compulsory by the district administration.
Home delivery of food will be allowed till 11 pm.
Only, 50% of the total capacity of the venue will be allowed. The highest number for indoor and outdoor venues is 300.
No school, college and educational institute, except for medical colleges, will be allowed to open in Ludhiana. Only online learning will continue.
Gyms, Malls, sports complexes, multiplexes, bars, cinema halls, museums, zoos, spas, will be allowed to operate at 50 per cent capacity. Also, the staff and the visitors must be fully vaccinated.
Pregnant women and physically challenged people will have the leverage to work from home.
Only those with a negative RT-PCR report (not older than 72 hours), will be allowed to visit Ludhiana.
Important guidelines issued by Election Commission
- Till January 31, no political rally, roadshow, is allowed.
- Only 10 persons will be allowed t conduct a door-to-door campaign.
- ECI has given permission to conduct a meeting of up to 300 people at indoor complexes.
