Ludhiana, December 3
Four live hand grenades and a tiffin bomb were seized in Salempur on Thursday night. As per the reports, the spot is just 5 kilometres from the Gurdaspur-Kartarpur corridor road.
It is to be noted that just two days ago, Gurdaspur police recovered 900 grams of RDX from Dinanagar. Other than that, two hand grenades were also recovered.
As per the reports, the tiffin bomb recovered today is a little different from those recovered in August. SSP Nanak Singh reportedly said that the one arrested has links with Pakistani agencies. However, it is still unknown if the bombs and grenades were procured from Pakistan or from within the country.
