Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Friday said that the farmers won’t leave the protest sites till the time parliament approves the rollback of the three farm laws. He also said that this was just the first step towards victory.
Rakesh Tikait also said that the government should have a dialogue with the farmers over MSP and other issues.
In a post written in Hindi, Tikait said that the protest won’t be taken back immediately. “We will wait for the day when the laws will be repealed in the parliament. The government must talk about MSP and other issues related to farmers.”
