Ludhiana, January 11
Supreme Court lawyers on Monday received some calls threatening the judges related to the Prime Minister’s “security breach” that happened in Ferozepur on January 5. As per the reports, the calls were allegedly made by the Pro-Khalistan group Sikhs For Justice.
Lawyer Deepak Prakash has filed a complaint regarding the same. He stated that those were threatening calls that could lead to riots.
A lot of lawyers reportedly received an automated call on Monday around 10:40 am. Also, the caller allegedly claimed that Sikh For Justice was responsible for the blockade that happened on January 5 on a flyover near Ferozepur, due to which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi cavalcade had to wait for 20 minutes.
Also, the reports suggest that the caller allegedly warned the judges who are hearing the security breach case. They “must not help Narendra Modi in punishing the Sikhs”, the caller reportedly said.
The treasurer of a Supreme Court Lawyer’s body, Nikhil Jain reportedly said that he received the call from +4474-1836-5564.
Deepak Prakash’s complaint reportedly read, “All the lawyers are receiving such threat calls. It indicates that they want to bring hatred and hostility to disrupt the government and public peace if the Supreme Court hears the Prime Minister’s security breach case.”
