Ludhiana, February 17
To make an appeal to the migrants of Ludhiana, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari campaigned in the city today.
He address a rally full of migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in Ludhiana and campaigned for Ludhiana East candidate of BJP/LPC/SAD (Sanyukt), Jagmohan Sharma. He also conducted a rally in favour of Satinderpal Singh Tajpuri from Ludhiana South constituency.
On his Ludhiana visit, Manoj Tiwari condemned Charanjit Singh Channi’s statement that was allegedly against the migrant workers coming from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He said that people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will come to Punjab and make the “lotus bloom”.

The migrants living in Ludhiana South gathered in large numbers to attend Manoj Tiwari’s rally. They greeted him and welcomed him by showering flowers.
Tiwari said that the Punjab government did not do anything for the migrants living in Punjab. If BJP is voted to power in Punjab, then the migrants would be taken care of.
On Tibba Road in Ludhiana, Manoj Tiwari campaigned in the favour of Jagmohan Sharma. There, Manoj Sharma said, “Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi is asking the migrants from UP and Bihar, to go out of Punjab. However, they have made their place in Punjab with their hard work.”
Further, he said, “Chief Minister of Punjab should not forget that Purvanchalis have contributed completely in the development of Punjab.”
