PLIDB Chairman Pawan Dewan writes letter to CM for poor roads in Ludhiana

Punjab Large Industries development Board chairman Pawan Dewan has written a letter to the Chief Minister of the state regarding the pathetic condition of the roads in Ludhiana.

In the letter, he wrote that he wanted to draw Channi’s attention to the poor conditions of the roads of the city because of the negligence of the Municipal Corporation.

Pawan Dewan said that the Ludhiana roads are in such poor condition that the roads constructed a few days ago are crumbling. In recent times, Ludhiana city has witnessed several mishaps. In the Deep Nagar area of Ludhiana, a brother and a sister were injured due to a sudden road cave-in, a few days ago. Also, a picture of a car stuck in the Haibowal area of the city had gone viral.

In the letter, Pawan Dewan requested the Chief Minister to conduct a high-level inquiry into the construction process and the material being used. He also drew CM Channi’s attention to the issue of the street lamps. He alleged that the street lights in different areas of the city were not functional and people were facing several difficulties because of that.
