A unique work portraying the unseen beauty of Natural scenic locations in Punjab, compiled in form of a Coffee Table Book titled, “Sadda Sohna Punjab” authored by Chairman Punjab Infotech and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, was released on Friday. Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma launched the book.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Padma Shri Dr. Surjit Patar, Principal Director General Income Tax Parneet Sachdev, IRS, Commissioner Central GST Hardeep Batra, IRS, Chancellor Dr. S.S Johl, Prof Gurbhajan Gill. The book launch was organized at Sutton House, PAU, Ludhiana.

Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana, Varinder Kumar Sharma while launching the Coffee Table Book appreciated the efforts of author Harpreet Sandhu. They praised him for showcasing the beautiful natural unseen locations within the state of Punjab.

They further applauded Harpreet Sandhu for conceiving and coming up with this meaningful work depicting the serene nature of Punjab and said that this initiative will definitely help nature lovers of not only Punjab but from across the world to witness these magnificent places within our state and promote tourism.

The Coffee Table Book depicts the mesmerizing locations of Punjab, bringing alive the beautiful panoramic views of densely populated green forests, rivers whirring with sparkling flow of blue waters and portray the beautiful photographs. Spots like Machhiwara Forest near Khanna – Rahon, Ropar – Dam, Nangal Dam, Anandpur Sahib – around River, Harike Pattan – River Beas and River Sutlej juncture, Shahpur Kandi Dam, Ranjit Sagar Dam (Pathankot), Thar Lake, Pong Dam, 52 Gate Lake –around the banks of River Sutlej and Beas are covered in this book.

Author Harpreet Sandhu said that he has prepared the book “Saada Sohna Punjab” with an aim to project the unique scenic locations of nature portraying the beauty of the state.
