Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal and his daughter Harshita Kejriwal came forward in support of party’s Chief Minister candidate in Punjab, Bhagwant Mann.
For the first time, Sunita and Harshita have come forward in Punjab for election campaigning.
Both of them reached Sangrur today, from where Bhagwant Mann is the Member of Parliament. Sunita and Harshita reached Punjab in a train. Bhagwant Mann’s sister Manpreet Kaur and mother Harpal Kaur welcomed them on the railway station.
Sunita Kejriwal addressed the women and said, “Bhagwant Ko vote nah daal kar, aap apne apne paer pe kulhadi maarenge.”
She also praised AAP’s “guarantee” of giving Rs. 1000 to all the women of Punjab above 18 years old.
Addressing the women voters, Harshita Kejriwal said that AAP was the only party that thinks for the betterment of children.
Harshita further said that she completed her studies at IIT and she could have gone to foreign easily. But her father taught her to work for the betterment of India.
Further, she said, “There is a serious problem of unemployment in Punjab. The youth has to go abroad for a better living. If AAP comes to power, more jobs would be generated in the state. Youth won’t have to leave their home and will work for the betterment of the state.” “Give AAP a chance, you won’t regret,” she said.
