The Progressive Punjab Investors Summit is going on in Punjab. On Wednesday, it was organized in Ludhiana and the Cabinet Minister from the city, Bharat Bhushan Ashu did not attend it.

For the first time in Punjab history, a cabinet meeting was held in Ludhiana on Wednesday. Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi headed the meeting. Later, Chief Minister and other ministers went to Kingsville Resort where the Investors Summit was organized.

Food & Civil Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan attended the Cabinet meeting. However, after that, he did not attend the press conference and the Investors Summit. Sources suggest that he had to go to Delhi and meet Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Other than him, Tript Bajwa and Amarinder Singh Raja Warring were also called for a meeting in Delhi.
