The Punjab government has ordered the immediate removal of posters displaying the government’s schemes, achievements with pictures of ex-chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh from PRTC buses.
On September 20, these orders were passed. It is to be noted that it has been two days only that the new Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has assumed office.
Director Public Relations has issued a letter to the Punjab Roadways saying, “With the replacement of Chief Minister in Punjab, the general managers are ordered to remove the posters of Captain Amarinder Singh from the buses.”

Senior officials from PRTC has reportedly said that these posters were paster two years ago for publicity purposes. These will be replaced soon.
