Ludhiana, December 29

The protesting farmers have again surrounded the Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday, December 29. They reportedly said that Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi did not implement what they had demanded.

Earlier also, the protesting farmers were protesting inside the premises of the Mini Secretariat, outside the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. However, the Chief Minister reportedly gave them the assurance of accepting and implementing what they were demanding.

However, the farmers have said, if the government did not implement their demands, they will start their protest again.

Due to the strike, no one was allowed to reach the Deputy Commissioner’s office today. The police put up barricades at the gate and did not let the farmers in. Ministerial employees were on a strike and this is the reason why the farmers have started the protest outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office and outside the Secretariat.
