As many as 32 representatives from 32 farmer unions of Punjab will meet Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday, November 17.
The president of the Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta (Dakaunda), Buta Singh Burzgill reportedly said their demands include sufficient and timely supply of DAP, paddy procurement compensation to the families of farmers who lost their lives during farmers’ protest, employment arrangements and also, arrest of the Akali leaders in recent Ferozepur incident.
