Ludhiana, October 27
The dengue cases in Ludhiana are rapidly increasing every day and on Wednesday, 122 new dengue cases were reported from different parts of the city. From Ludhiana urban, 107 (93 from Ludhiana city, 1 from Khanna, 13 from Jagraon) new dengue cases were witnessed on Wednesday.
From Ludhiana rural, 15 people contracted dengue. Now, the total number of dengue cases in Ludhiana has reached 1,026. The number of dengue suspected cases has gone up to 2,656.
The dengue cases have been witnessed in areas including Gurdev Nagar, Rishi Nagar, Model Town, Kakowal Road, Giaspura, Janta Nagar, Himmat Singh Nagar, GTB Nagar, Barewal Road, Daresi Road, Amarpura, Durgapuri, Hambran Road, Shivaji Nagar, Green Park, Chander Nagar, Shivpuri, Ajit Nagar, Tagore Nagar, Churpur Road, Sant Vihar and Aman Park.
