The thieves stole the bag of a woman bank manager by breaking her car’s glass. As per the reports, the incident happened near Sat Paul Mittal school in Ludhiana and the bag of the lady was lying inside the car that was parked near the school.
Cash worth Rs 1.25 lakh, a gold bracelet and other essential items were present in the bag that the thieves stole. A police team from Dugri Police station has registered a case after taking stock of the crime spot. A case against unknown people has been registered.
ASI Davinder Singh said that the said case was registered on the complaint of Taranpreet Manro, resident of Nirvana Homes in Chhabra Colony, Pakhowal Road.
In her statement, the woman told that she serves as a manager in Yes Bank, Model Town branch. On Wednesday afternoon, she went to Satpal Mittal School in Dugri Phase-2 to pick up her daughter. She parked her Mahindra Thar car outside at 2:45 pm and went to school.
After a while, when she returned at 3:15 pm, she saw that the driver’s side glass of the car was broken. The bag contained cash worth Rs 1.25 lakh, a gold bracelet, ATM card, driving license, CSD canteen card, bank keys, locker keys and other important documents.
Davinder Singh said that the place where the car was parked does not have CCTV cameras. Now the footage of other cameras installed in the area is being checked to trace the thieves.
