The Russian troops in Ukraine have now captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on March 4. It is to be noted that Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is the largest in Europe.

During the wee hours on Friday, the Russian troops had attacked the power plant and due to heavy shelling, the plant was set on fire.

The fire was later extinguished. However, the incident caught the eye of leaders across the world. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Moscow of repeating the “Chernobyl nuclear disaster”.

During the initial days of Russia attacking Ukraine, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was also captured by the Russian troops.

The United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also condemned Russia for capturing the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. He accused Putin of “endangering” all of Europe. Further, he reportedly said that Putin’s reckless actions can now threaten entire Europe.
