Former BJP leader Anil Arora had to face backlash outside Ludhiana district court on Thursday, as he was arrested by the police for using derogatory words for Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his father.
As soon as Anil Arora was brought outside the court amid tight security, two youths started raising slogans against him. A young man took off his shoe and tried to hit the accused Anil Arora.
As soon as the young man took off his shoe and tried to throw it, the police personnel present there stopped him. After that, the accused Anil Arora was made to appear before the court amidst tight security.
He has been sent to police remand for two days. Police are trying to interrogate the accused. The police was trying to find Anil Arora for the last 52 days.
The police team arrested Anil Arora from Zirakpur on Wednesday night. The protesting youngsters came to know that Anil Arora was to be produced before the court in the evening.
The police had tightened security arrangements even before the accused Anil Arora was produced in the court.
As soon as the accused Anil Arora reached the court in the convoy of eight vehicles, both the youths started opposing him. All the roads leading to the court were closed by the police. It is to be noted that the accused Anil Arora was unable to walk even on his feet. The police personnel helped him walk.
