Harish Rawat, Congress general secretary incharge of Punjab, reportedly said that there were no differences between the current CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Further, he said both Channi and Sidhu would work together for the 2022 elections.
“Punjab’s CM and Mr. Sidhu will collaborate and work to win the 2022 elections. Then Congress President will decide the next CM,” Rawat reportedly said.
He was in New Delhi as the transport minister of Uttarakhand Yashpal Arya had to assume the office.
He also said that they had not seen any resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu. “What resignation? We have not seen any resignations. We have only read about the resignation in the newspaper,” Rawat reportedly said.
