Ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections in Punjab, all the political parties are continuing their election campaigning in full swing. In Punjab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Jalandhar.
However, just before his arrival, Congress’ General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also expected to visit Punjab. The reports suggest that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra may visit Punjab on February 13, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
Priyanka Gandhi to conduct rally in Bhagwant Mann’s constituency
The reports also suggest that Priyanka Gandhi may address a rally in Dhuri, from where AAP’s Chief Minister candidate Bhagwant Mann is contesting the elections. Against him, the sitting MLA from Congress Dalvir Singh Goldy is contesting the elections. It is expected that Priyanka Gandhi may make some major announcements during her visit to Punjab.
Rahul Gandhi in Ludhiana
On Sunday, February 6, Rahul Gandhi also visited Ludhiana to announce the Chief Minister candidate for Punjab. A survey was conducted and Charanjit Singh Channi was chosen as the Chief Minister candidate in Punjab.
Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had conducted a virtual rally in Ludhiana and Fatehgarh Sahib. However, his other virtual rallies were cancelled and now, Narendra Modi will visit Punjab on February 14. Narendra Modi will address a rally in Jalandhar and some other districts of Punjab.
