The people of Punjab have elected Aam Aadmi Party and now, the newly formed government is in action mode. The senior officers are being replaced with new ones.
Amol Rattan Sidhu has been appointed as the new Advocate-General of Punjab. Earlier, A Venu Prasad was appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
The appointment of the new Director-General of Police is also expected soon. Amol Rattan Sidhu has been the president of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association eight times. Other than that, he has also served as the chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
Also, he has been the Additional Solicitor-General of India, Additional Advocate-General for both states of Punjab and Haryana.
