Providing financial relief to the transporters, the Punjab government today announced to implement a scheme for the transport sector.
The government has announced that the transporters who could not pay their motor tax due to the coronavirus pandemic, will get the opportunity to pay the tax without any penalty and arrears under the scheme.
This scheme will continue for three months, from April 25 to July 24. The transporters who have not paid their taxes will be given another chance to pay the taxes without penalty.
