Once again, CM Channi’s brother speaks against Congress

Congress’ Chief Minister face in Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi’s brother Dr. Manohar Singh has once again spoken against the party, from which he was denied the MLA ticket.

As per the reports, Manohar Singh said that according to Congress’ survey, he could have won the elections from Bassi Pathana seat. However, the party still denied to give him the MLA ticket from the constituency.

Manohar Singh contested the elections from Bassi Pathana constituency as an independent candidate.

According to the reports, Manohar Singh said, “I was working in the Bassi Pathana constituency. Even as per Congress’ survey, I can win the elections. Still, I was denied a ticket. I was ignored by the High Command. I had to contest as people told me to.”

“Happy for Channi”

Manohar Singh also said that he was happy that the Congress high-command chose Charanjit Singh Channi as its CM face. He said that the people of Punjab has accepted this decision and Congress will be benefitted by the work done by Charanjit Singh Channi.

It is to be noted that Manohar Singh was denied the MLA ticket of the Bassi Pathana seat by the Congress party. After that, he contested the elections independently.
