Coronavirus vaccination registration for children starts in India

Vaccination registration for children of the age group 15-18 has started in India from today. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya informed that the people of this age group (15-18) can register themselves on the Cowin app and website.

He took to Twitter and requested the parents to register their children for coronavirus vaccination.

The vaccination for the age group 15-18 will start from January 3.

Amid the rising cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus in India, the government has taken several steps. It includes the vaccination drive for children and booster dose for frontline warriors and senior citizens.

As per the reports, the government has given nod to two vaccinations to be administered to the children- Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Zydus Cadilla’s ZyCoV-D.
