Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today informed that there are 30 active patients in Ludhiana at present. On September 14, 2 new coronavirus cases were reported from Ludhiana.
Till date, a total of 23,93,055 samples have been taken, of which 22,93,874 samples were found negative. He said that now, the total number of patients related to Ludhiana is 87,512, while 11,669 patients belong to other districts and states.
He said that that a total of 2,099 people from Ludhiana and 1049 from other districts have lost their lives due to covid. As many as 7638 samples of suspected patients were sent for testing today.
