From Wednesday, March 16, the vaccination drive for children of the age group 12-14 will start in Ludhiana.
Corbevax vaccine will be inoculated to the children of the age 12-14.
On Tuesday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan held a virtual conference with the states and UTs regarding the vaccination drive. Till now, Corbevax vaccines have not reached Ludhiana. But, these are expected to arrive shortly. The Civil Surgeons of all the districts have been issued several guidelines regarding the vaccination of the children of this age group.
How to register?
The vaccine registration process will be the same as that for adults and teenagers. The parents of the children of age 12-14 can register their children for vaccination through cowin.gov.in. Other than that, the parents can take their children directly to the vaccination centres and continue with the registration process.
