A two-month-old baby was found dead inside a microwave in Delhi’s Chirag Dilli area on Monday.
The incident happened in the Chirag Dilli area and the police got the information about the incident when the baby was admitted to the hospital.
The police reportedly informed that the infant’s mother is the prime suspect in the case. When the incident happened, the baby’s father was at the departmental store that he owns near the house. The mother had locked herself in the house and the neighbours had to break the doors to get inside.
One of the neighbours reportedly said that he woke up to the commotion of the neighbourhood as people were saying that the accused woman had locked herself in the house.
“We broke the doors, entered the house and found the woman lying unconscious. The child was missing. We tried to find the child everywhere. Later, two-three more people came inside the house. They checked a room where a microwave oven was placed. They found the child inside it,” the neighbour reportedly said.
The prime accused in the case, the mother, has been interrogated by the police and no arrest has been made till now in the case.
