Two MLAs from Punjab Congress have joined Bhartiya Janta Party ahead of the 2022 Assembly Polls.
Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa and Balwinder Singh Laddi from Indian National Congress have left the party to join BJP.
Fateh Jung Bajwa is the MLA from Qadian constituency. On the other hand, Balwinder Singh Laddi is MLA from Hargobindpur.
Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa is brother of a senior Congress leader and MP Pratap Bajwa. In a recent rally, PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu had announced Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa as a party candidate.
Ahead of the elections, more political leaders from Shiromani Akali Dal and Congress are expected to join Bhartiya Janta Party.
