Punjab Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring informed that in October, the transport department impounded 304 illegal buses from the state.
Addressing the press conference on Wednesday, November 10, Transport Minister said that the impounded buses were working without paying taxes and some did not have any permits. Raja Warring further informed that 68 buses were fined for several reasons.
He said that in one month, the department has made a tax collection of Rs. 7 crores.
Yesterday also, Raja Warring lashed out at former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. He took to Twitter and asked what stopped him (Captain Amarinder Singh) to do what the present Congress government was doing.
