Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner on Sunday made a strong statement taking strict action on the government employees seeking relief from election duties.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that he was getting a lot of applications in which a lot of employees were seeking medical leaves and making several excuses so that they get exemption from medical duties.
He said that there are about 1000 such employees, who are saying that they are suffering from serious diseases or want to serve their mother-in-law and father-in-law.
Ludhiana DC has now taken strict action against them.
“I have written a letter to the government recommending them to make a special medical board and give these employees early retirement so that they can take care of themselves and their in-laws.”
Through a video message, Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Commissioner made this statement.
