Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan’ Ravan, actor Arvind Trivedi died of a heart attack on Tuesday night, October 5. According to the reports, he was in Mumbai when he breathed his last and was not feeling well for a long time. He suffered a heart attack followed by multiple organ failure.
The veteran actor was 82 years old. He gained popularity because of the show that brought a revolution in the Indian TV industry. Arvind Trivedi shared the screen with actors like Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia, and Dara Singh.
Co-starts mourns his death
Sunil Lahiri, who worked as Laxman in the show, shared Arvind’s pictures.
Ashoke Pandit, a film-maker and president of the Indian Film and Television Director’s Association also mourned Arvind’s death.
Who was Arvind Trivedi?
- On November 8, 1938, Arvind Trivedi was born in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
- Other than playing the role of Raavan, he was also a part of the TV show Vikram Aur Betaal.
- He started his career in the Gujrati Theatre where he gained popularity and contributed there for 40 years.
- The Gujarat Government has awarded him seven times for his work in the theatre industry.
- In the year 2002, he was named as the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification.
- He was also a Member of Parliament from the year 1991 to 1996 from the Sabarkatha constituency. He has been a part of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
