Elections in five poll-bound states will be conducted in seven phases.

The Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra has said that model code of conduct comes into effect from today.
Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases. The dates are- February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, March 3, and 7.
Elections in other states
Manipur will vote on March 3.
Goa and Uttarakhand will vote on February 14.
