Ludhiana, January 5

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend a much-awaited rally in Ferozepur today. Sources suggest that because of the bad weather conditions, Narendra Modi missed the rally.

The preparations of the rally were in full swing. However, rain has played a spoilsport.

Due to bad weather, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reaching the rally from Bathinda Airport by road. However, after some time, it was reported that the rally has been cancelled.

At the airport, PM Narendra Modi was welcomed by Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal.

Former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh had reached the spot. Addressing the rally, Amarinder Singh slammed Navjot Singh Sidhu. He said that Navjot Sidhu is not a member of the manifesto committee. However, he keeps making statements and announcements. Further, he said, “BJP is necessary to make Punjab stronger.”
