The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has reportedly formed teams to check the working of around 720 private schools in the state. As per the reports, these 720 schools are those which are allegedly not following the orders issued by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
It is to be noted that CM Bhagwant Mann had earlier said that private schools won’t be allowed to increase the school fee in this academic session. Other than that, CM had said that the schools won’t be allowed to suggest particular shops to buy schools dresses and books.
However, the reports suggest the schools in which these checks would be conducted, were not following the instructions issued by the Punjab government. As many as 15 teams have been formed for this purpose.
According to the sources, the teams will check if the schools have the No Objection Certificates, the number of staff present in the school, the last time when the school fee was increased and much more.
