Ludhiana, December 6
Ahead of the 2022 Assembly Polls, the political campaigns are heated up and every party is putting its complete effort into different constituencies to expose the opposition. As the AAP leaders from Delhi are flocking into Punjab, the ruling party in Punjab is also using the same tactics.
On Sunday, the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Navjot Sidhu went to Delhi and joined the protesting guest teachers outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.
Navjot Sidhu was seen sloganeering with the protesting teachers. Sidhu said, “Practice what you preach, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi school teachers are saying that they are treated like bonded labourers. Paid per day, no money for holidays, no guarantee of contract and removed without notice!”
It is to be noted that Delhi CM and AAP have been attacking the education system and infrastructure of Punjab. A few days ago, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister visited a government school in Chamkaur Sahib, Charanjit Singh Channi’s constituency and exposed the poor infrastructure. Sidhu’s move is seen as a reply to the AAP’s supremo, who also joined the teachers protesting in Mohali against the Congress government.
