At several places in Gurugram, Muslims were being opposed for offering namaz in open spaces. A local Hindu resident offered his vacant shop to the Muslim community so that they can read namaz peacefully.
According to the reports, Akshhay Rao, wildlife tour organiser owns several shops in the mechanic market. He said that most of his tenants were Muslims and they were facing difficulties while offering Friday prayers. Therefore, he had provided one of his vacant shops to the Muslim community so that they can offer their prayers peacefully. The shop can accommodate 15-20 people.
He reportedly said that he had done the same earlier as well. “I have not done anything special. It is not the first time I have offered my place for namaz. I had done the same a few years ago as well.”
