An eight-year-old boy lost his life on the occasion of Dussehra in Giaspura ground. As per the reports, the boy along with his mother and siblings had gone to the Giaspura fair in Dussehra. The cheerful atmosphere at the fair turned into mourning when the minor boy fell from a swing called “Break Dance”.
The media reports suggest that he was in for the ride with his elder sister. The man deputed at the swing had also reportedly warned his mother that the boy was too young for the swing. However, her mother reportedly said that she was sending him for the ride on her own responsibility.
The boy lost his control when the ride started and hit his head against the grill. He was then rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
According to the reports, the body was sent for post-mortem. ASI Balwinder Singh reportedly said that the deceased boy was a resident of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar. His father’s name is Mandeep Singh who works in a factory.
