Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Wednesday visited Chamkaur Sahib (CM Charanjit Singh Channi’s constituency) to “expose” his government. He visited a government school in Chamkaur Sahib to check if they were better than the government schools in Delhi.
Between Education Minister of Punjab Pargat Singh Kahlon and Manish Sisodia, there has been a war of words and both the ministers have been praising education in their respective states.
During his visit, Manish Sisodia found one of the government schools in Chamkaur Sahib in a pitiable condition. “It is unfortunate for the children of Punjab that they have to study in such conditions. The washrooms for teachers are also in pathetic condition.”
Earlier, Manish Sisodia had released a list of 250 government schools of Delhi that had exceptional facilities. He had also asked Pargat Singh Kahlon to do the same. Sisodia also alleged that Pargat was running away from the debate as he did not receive any such list from him.
