Prakash Singh Badal tests positive for Omicron, admitted to DMC Ludhiana

Former Chief Minister of Punjab and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Prakash Singh Badal has been tested positive for the Omicron variant of coronavirus. Prakash Singh Badal’s genome sequencing report tells that he has been tested positive for Omicron.

A few days ago, Prakash Singh Badal was admitted to DMC Hospital Ludhiana as he complained of mild fever and cough. His condition is stable and the reports suggest that his treatment would continue for some more days.

Dr. Bishav Mohan has confirmed that Prakash Singh Badal is stable and also conversating with everyone. He would be discharged in one or two days.

Shiromani Akali Dal leaders have also said that he would be fit soon and continue the campaigns for the party once again.

Rumours are being spread that he has been admitted to the ICU. Though he has been tested positive for Omicron, his condition is stable and would be discharged soon.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also enquired about Prakash Singh Badal’s health a few days ago when he was admitted to DMC Ludhiana.
