The number of coronavirus cases in Ludhiana has started increasing once again. On January 1, as many as 39 new coronavirus cases have been reported from Ludhiana.
In the last three days, as many as 88 cases have been reported from Ludhiana.
With this, the number of active coronavirus cases in Ludhiana has crossed the 100 mark. Currently, there are 110 active coronavirus cases in Ludhiana.
Out of the 39 reported today, 11 are those who came in contact with coronavirus-positive patients, 3 are health care workers. Another worrying aspect is that only 1719 samples were taken yesterday for RT-PCR testing.
The number of cases may increase if coronavirus testing increases in the city. Till now, 2117 deaths have been reported from Ludhiana due to coronavirus.
