Ludhiana, March 16
Congress leader Manish Tewari once again took a jibe at his own party. He reportedly informed that Aam Aadmi Party had invited him to the oath-taking ceremony of Bhagwant Mann. However, he was not invited by his own party to the oath-taking ceremony of former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
On Twitter, he also shared the invitation that Aam Aadmi Party has sent to him. However, he said that he would not be able to attend the ceremony because Parliament was in session.
He took to Twitter and congratulated Bhagwant Mann. Also, he revealed that he was not invited by Congress of Channi’s oath-taking ceremony.
He wrote, “I congratulate Bhagwant Mann on being sworn in as Chief Minister I thank him for inviting me to his swearing in. Due to Parliament being in session I will not be able to make it. It is ironic I was not invited to Charanjit Singh Channi’s swearing in though he was one of my MLA’s.”
Last year, when Captain Amarinder Singh resigned from his post of Chief Minister, Congress high-command chose Charanjit Singh Channi as the next Chief Minister.
In Khatkar Kalan today, Bhagwant Mann took the oath for the Chief Minister post today. Several political leaders of AAP including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Raghav Chaddha, were present on the occasion.
