As the nomination process has started for the 2022 Assembly Polls in Punjab, three Congress leaders from Ludhiana filed nomination papers on January 27.
Captain Sandeep Sandhu also filed his nominations. He fought for the Dakha seat in 2019 By-elections. Once again, Congress has given him the ticket against AAP’s Dr. KNS Kang and sitting MLA from Shiromani Akali Dal, Manpreet Singh Ayali.
Captain Sandeep Sandhu’s wealth has increased by Rs. 6.52 crore in just three years.
Sandeep Sandhu has movable assets worth Rs. 2.95 crore. In the year, 2019 (when he fought by-polls), the figure was Rs. 2,60,99,398.
His wife Puneeta Sandhu has movable assets worth Rs. 1.03 crore and immovable assets worth Rs. 1 crore.
Captain Sandeep Sandhu has jewellery worth Rs. 2.35 lakh. However, according to his affidavit, he has no vehicle.
Other than that, Captain Sandeep Sandhu has immovable assets worth Rs. 8,60,50,000. In the year 2019, he had immovable assets worth Rs. 2,42,00,000.
Criminal Case- His affidavit reads that he is not convicted of any criminal case. Education- Captain Sandhu completed an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science (Ship Masters) in the year 2000 from Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania.
